Final bills

The Utility requires final readings on all property transfers and/or changes in occupant customers. If a sale falls through, a closing is delayed, or you don't change occupancy as anticipated, the party who ordered the final reading has the responsibility to revise the final reading request with the Utility.

Final readings can be scheduled by calling the Utility Office at (262) 248-2311 Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Customers can also submit an online form to start or stop utility service using the request form linked below.

Final readings should be scheduled one to two weeks prior to closing. If requested, our office can email the final bill to the title company, landlord or tenant. 

The Utility will provide final billing for customers that are provided water and/or sanitary sewer service. Customers should also notify any other company they are receiving service from (gas, electric, cable, etc.) when the occupants of a property change.
