The Utility requires final readings on all property transfers or changes to occupant customers. If a sale falls through, a closing is delayed, or you don't change occupancy as anticipated, the party who ordered the final reading has the responsibility to revise the final reading request with the Utility.
Final readings can be scheduled by calling the Utility Office at (262) 248-2311 Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Customers can also request to start or stop utility service downloading and filling out the form linked here.
Final readings should be scheduled no later than two (2) business days prior to closing. If requested, our office can email the final bill to the title company, landlord or tenant.
The Utility will provide final billing for customers that are provided water and/or sanitary sewer service. Customers should also notify any other company they are receiving service from (gas, electric, cable, etc.) when the occupants of a property change.
